Debra Ramsay is an abstract artist working in the disciplines of painting, drawing and installation. Her work is an idiosyncratic engagement with rule-based systems. Ramsay is currently focused on extracting colors, digitally, from nature and comparing how colors change with the seasons as an expression of time. Ramsay was awarded a 2013 Residency at the Golden Foundation in New Berlin, NY and has been invited to the Albers Foundation for a residency in 2016.
