Lauren Davies’ mixed media work explores our often-troubled relationship to the natural world with projects ranging from commentaries on the artifice of natural history museum presentations to dog breeding and correspondence course taxidermy instructions. The unifying element in her eclectic projects is an obsessive use of sad sack materials and an underlying dark humor.
